How would you rate carrying a laptop ready with a demo for an interview? as in….geeks who like to show off their programs / websites, and who are not good speakers..can they get away with a good demo?

This is a really honest post. Hiring at a small company means you have to find people that can meet the challenge and work well with the team. This means you have to be able to get along with them. We spend a lot of time togather without walls or offices. We have to like being around each other and respect each other. One poor performer can kill a company our size. Passion is my favorite thing. I really appreciate people that follow up with me, say thanks, hold doors, and tell me what they do for fun. We want you to be a real person. Heather was so nervous during her interview with us that she chewed the ink out of a pen and onto her face. She didn't share that part. She still got the job.

Hmmm, for me I just rely on pure instincts. I am sure that these actions sway my instincts though.
